How I wish I knew what you sounded like

Your words like arrows fly into my heart off the screen

I pause on each syllable, recounting how I imagine your tongue curls under the weight of your words

It’s magical

I feel myself slipping into a trance, a wave of euphoria hits as I contemplate your voice

Your sweet sweet voice

And yet I am no more knowledgeable than when we first met

Th enigma of your speech mindboggles me

I am left useless and incapable in a heap of marauding woe

An endless pit of sorrowful languishing

One I fear I will never depart from

For I feel as though I will never muster the courage to force the issue

And in courage’s stead, I lack the guile to seduce you

Time is running out my sweet Honeybee

I can feel it

Perhaps even, I may have already lost you.
